PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication bus system capable of properly coping with breakage of a communication bus. SOLUTION: A breakage detection means 101 detects breakage of the communication bus. A connection means 102 interconnects both ends of the communication bus when the breakage detection means 101 detects breakage. When the connection means 102 interconnects both ends of the communication bus, a termination resistor cut-off means 103 interrupts a termination resistor connected respectively to both the ends of the communication bus. Further, a first control means 104A is connected to the one end of the communication bus to control a field device via the communication bus. A second control means 104B is connected to the other end to control a field device via the communication bus. A breakage detection means 105 detects breakage of the communication bus. When the breakage detection means 105 detects breakage, an equalizing processing means 106 equalizes control by first and second control means 104A, 104B. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
