A discount zone system for controlling electronic devices and a control method using the same are provided to transmit a control command without using a mobile communication system, thereby efficiently controlling the electronic devices within a short time without a waste of communication charges. A discount zone system for controlling electronic devices comprises the followings: a mobile communication system which provides mobile communication services and applies a discount charge for communication in a discount zone(75) different from a cell zone(77); at least one electronic device; a discount marker(73) which sets up the discount zone and forms a first communication channel with the electronic device and transmits an electronic device control command to the electronic device; and a mobile communication terminal(71) which provides a mobile communication service to which the discount charge is applied in the discount zone according to communication with the discount marker and makes the electronic device control command, and forms a second communication channel with the discount marker, and transmits the electronic device control command to the discount marker.
