A cylinder is provided to improve efficiency in converting pressure energy of fluid into kinetic energy by reducing weight thereof, increasing strength of pipe material, and fixing a pipe line. A cylinder includes a cylinder tube(1), a plug(2), a duplex tube shaft(3), a piston(4), a fluid passage(5), a bolt and nut part(7), and an O-ring or a U-packing(8). The plug seals the cylinder tube. The fluid passage is formed between an outer tube and an inner tube(6) of the duplex tube shaft to transmit pressure energy of fluid to a left side of the piston. The inside of the inner tube of the duplex tube shaft is a passage to transmit the pressure energy of the fluid to a right side of the piston. Holes are formed at both sealed ends of the inner and outer tubes to install ports therein. The fluid is injected or discharged into or from the duplex tube shaft through the ports. |
