PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated and granulated seed which is spherical, has high germination rate and can fulfill coating/granulating for a short time.SOLUTION: The coated and granulated seed is formed spherically with a coating layer on the surface of the seed, and the coating layer is characterized by including hydrophobic inorganic particles. The inorganic particle is preferably a particle consisting essentially of at least one of silicon oxide and titanium oxide. Furthermore, the inorganic particle is preferably a noncrystalline particle. Besides, the inorganic particle preferably has a 10-1000 nm primary particle diameter and is aggregated to form a secondary particle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
