PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens with an image blur correcting function having a complete correcting function against image blur caused by vibration and achieving excellent optical performance while it has a smaller constitution. SOLUTION: In the zoom lens, a 1st negative lens group G1, a 2nd positive lens group G2 and a 3rd positive lens group G3 are arranged in order from an object side, and mutual distances among the 1st to the 3rd lens groups G1 to G3 are changed when performing variable power, so that the entire length of the zoom lens becomes comparatively short. Since the 1st lens group G1 is constituted to include a 1st negative lens L1 and a 2nd positive lens L2 from the object side, a wide angle is obtained. Since the 1st lens group G1 includes an aspherical surface, the curvature of field and distortion aberration are satisfactorily corrected. The zoom lens satisfies a conditional expression (1),β2t<-1.5. By slightly moving the 2nd lens group G2, the complete correction of image blur is made. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
