PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target device capable of moving a target to an unshootable position without giving shock to a driving means of the target when a bullet hits the target regardless of the position of the target. SOLUTION: The target 12 is supported rotatably around a base part 11 so that the target 12 moves between a shootable standing position and an unshootable falling position. The driving means 20 rotates a target moving member 17. The target 12 is held by the target moving member by a holding means consisting of a permanent magnet 19 and a magnetic member 15 and integrally moves with the target moving member. The holding member cancels the holding action by a force the bullet generates when hitting the target. Hence, the target sways to the falling position when the bullet hits the target while moving from the falling position to the standing position as well.
