A mode setting device of memory device is provided to allow a user to select a write and read operation by setting up a flag, so preventing unnecessary data from being written. In a mode setting device of memory device, a flag setting part(210) set write and read operation flag according to a mode command code. The flag register(220) stores flag data which are set up by the flag setting part. A power-on-reset part(230) resets the memory device to an initial state. A command processing(240) outputs the write command(CWE) and read command(CRE) by processing the command signal applied from the outside. A mode activation control part(250) activates the mode of the memory device by assembling the output of the write flag resistor and output of the command processing. |
