The present invention relates to a vibration energy harvesting apparatus to effectively harvest wasted energy so that the energy is used as power for low power devices, and to efficiently generate electricity by being combined with a periodic vibration generating means. The vibration energy harvesting apparatus utilizes a strong flat spring elastically vibrating by a forcible vibration method applying an external force instead of a vibration energy recovering method using a large and expensive piezoelectric element which is easily damaged by direct impact transmission. Accordingly, the vibration energy harvesting apparatus can be appropriate for various sizes and use purposes at a relatively low cost, and have a long service life. The vibration energy harvesting apparatus has the effects of securing economic feasibility by reducing the expenses of components, installation and maintenance, and improving versatility, as the vibration energy harvesting apparatus enables characteristics of the flat spring to be adjusted in accordance to external vibration so that the natural frequency of the flat spring fits external energy and the vibrating amplitude is maximized, thereby improving efficiency. |
