A fleet of a maximum of five nine-place four-wheel-drive vehicles equipped with a public address system and decorated externally with colour photographs and designs associated with the area being visited or depicting large national historic/artistic monuments. Both the drivers and the guides are dressed in regional historic clothing. Groups containing a maximum of nine people select the route. In addition, a notebook is supplied for keeping a record of the day's activities. Subsequently, the fleet is formed under the direction of the guide and each passenger takes his/her seat. The tour guide is also the tour host and travels in the guide car and communicates with the five vehicles via radio. |
