PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a currency processing apparatus having high maintenance work efficiency, capable of easily reducing a possibility of short-circuiting a power supply of currency processing units, and performing maintenance work of an apparatus body in parallel with maintenance work of the currency processing unit.SOLUTION: The currency processing apparatus includes: an apparatus body 12 having main power supply switching means 61 for switching on/off a main power supply; currency processing units 13 and 14 to be pulled out from the device body 12; and manual switches 63 and 64 for switching on/off the power supply of the currency processing units 13 and 14, with the main power supply of the apparatus body 12 turned on. This configuration can turn off the power supply of the currency processing units 13 and 14 without turning off the main power supply of the apparatus body 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
