A cooking device (1) is provided with: a heating chamber (2) having a door (3) and containing an object (100) to be heated; a vapor generation section (20) for supplying vapor into the heating chamber (2); and a water storage tank (7). The cooking device (1) is further provided with a cooling air passage (47) provided between the heating chamber (2) and the water storage tank (7) and allowing cooling air to flow therethrough; and an air suction opening (5) provided on the door (3) side and introducing cooling air into the cooling air passage (47). This embodiment enables cooling using acooling fan (37) which is more compact and lower in cost. As a result, the provided cooking device (1) has a smaller overall height.
