METHOD OF OBTAINING SPECTRAL VOIDS IN THE TRANSMISSION OF SIGNALS OVER THE ELECTRIC NETWORK

The invention relates to a method of obtaining spectral voids in the transmission of signals over the electric network. The inventive method enables signals to be transmitted over the electric network with a suitable power spectral density, such that said power spectral density is adjusted to existing regulations with the possibility of spectral voids being introduced into the transmission in an efficient manner. The invention is characterised by: the adjustment of the power of one or more OFDM signal carriers for the generation of the aforementioned voids, the use of IDFTs of at least 1024 points (if the IDFT is complex) or at least 2048 points (if the IDFT is real), and the use of a window which multiplies the symbols to be transmitted over time.
