PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auto repair method of system configurations using single key control. SOLUTION: First, a press mode of a computer power key is detected. Next, a repair item represented by the press mode is determined, and then a corresponding system configuration repair procedure is executed, to update the system configurations, restore settings, or clear system configuration settings recorded in a CMOS storage.
