PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing system which enables a person on the object side to confirm that he/she is in a frame after framing by a finder is performed and before a remote control operation is performed. SOLUTION: When a digital camera 1 is set to a tripod and a mode dial 105 is switched to a remote control photographing mode, illumination light emitted from an LED provided in a light emitting part 11 is modulated and position information is transmitted to a portable telephone terminal 200 by visible light communication.
