PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement device and measurement method, which enables realtime synchronization of a GPS receiver side and an IMU side using a simple algorithm.SOLUTION: A measurement device includes: an interpolation processing unit 106 which performs linear interpolation processing on a velocity waveform of a moving object; a soundness assessment unit 101 which computes a difference between an acceleration value computed on the basis of the linear interpolated speed of the moving object and an acceleration value measured by an acceleration/angular acceleration measurement unit 16 to compute a coefficient based on the difference; a mis-synchronization correction unit 107 which shifts forward the phase of the velocity of the moving object linear interpolated by the interpolation processing unit 106; a synchronization processing unit 102 which performs synchronization processing on corrected velocity obtained by a strap-down navigator unit 100 and on Doppler velocity of a GPS satellite to compute an amount of error; a multiplier unit 103 which multiplies the coefficient computed by the soundness assessment unit 101 by the amount of error computed by the synchronization processing unit 102; and a status estimation unit 104 which computes an estimated amount of adjustment to be applied to the corrected velocity from the amount of error multiplied by the coefficient. |
