<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle device capable of checking the added state of an IC card in an on-vehicle system, properly coping with toll payment independently of the existence of an electronic toll collection(ETC) system and checking the balance display of a financial institution in cooperation. SOLUTION: In the ETC system capable of executing toll collecting processing through an IC card C by two-way radio communications between a road side device RS and an on-vehicle device 1, the device 1 has an IC card reader 2, display means 3, 3a and a storage means 17 for storing the contents of the card C. When the amount of the IC card is increased from the balance amount of the IC card C at the preceding use at the time of reading out the contents of the IC card C by the IC card reader 2, the added result is displayed by the display means 3, 3a.</p> |
