摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron-carbon-based sintering member having higher strength than an iron-copper-carbon-based sintering member by using an inexpensive iron-carbon-based sintering material without using copper as a raw material, and a manufacturing method capable of manufacturing the iron-carbon-based sintering member.SOLUTION: There is provided an iron-carbon-based sintering member consisting of C:0.2 to 1.0 mass% and the balance:Fe with inevitable impurities and having sintered body density of 7.4 Mg/mor more. There is provided a manufacturing method of the iron-carbon-based sintering member having a molding process of filling a raw material powder consisting of graphite powder:0.3 to 1.2 mass% and the balance iron powder in a cavity of mold, compression-molding it by upper and lower punch to obtain a green compact with density of 7.45 Mg/mor more and a sintering process of sintering the green compact at 1000 to 1300°C to obtain a sintered body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
