PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-capacity and high-voltage-resistance multilayer ceramic capacitor.SOLUTION: The multilayer ceramic capacitor comprises: a capacitor body 5 formed by alternately laminating a dielectric body 1 containing barium titanate as a main component and an internal electrode 3 containing nickel as a main component; and a pair of external electrodes 7 provided on both opposing end faces of the capacitor body 5. An oxygen vacancy quantity within the dielectric body 1 is 4.2×10/mmor less. Thus, even in the case where a DC voltage is applied to the multilayer ceramic capacitor, carriers moved by an electric field are reduced. Therefore, high insulation properties can be obtained and voltage resistance can be improved. |
