PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which surely and efficiently implements a service such as push scan between a peripheral device and an information processor connected via a network, with a simple operation. SOLUTION: In the system wherein the information processor and the peripheral device are connected and exchange packets with each other, the information processor transmits a service use registration request to the peripheral device with a first cycle in order to receive a service which the peripheral device provides. The peripheral device determines whether to give use permission to the received service use registration request and informs the information processor which has transmitted the request, of a determination result. In this case, information of the information processor from which the use request is given to the service use registration request is stored in a storage medium beforehand.
