PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube body manufacturing method for forming a powder coated film having a uniform film thickness.SOLUTION: A tube body 900 comprises a socket 910 having an earthquake-proof structure and a straight section 920 which is continuous to the socket 910. On an inner peripheral surface 951 of the socket 910, a recess 993 for accommodating a lock ring 720 is formed. A tube body manufacturing method comprises a step of discharging powders to at least the recess 993 while relatively moving nozzles 11 and 12, which discharge powders in a tube axial direction of the tube body 900, and the tube body 900, and relatively rotating the nozzles 11 and 12 and the tube body 900 around the tube axis. A centrifugal acceleration at the recess 993 when discharging powders to the recess 993 is so set as to be 0.9 G or more and 14.7 G or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
