<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of dew condensation. <P>SOLUTION: An image sensor module 2 is composed of a base 6, a CCD image sensor 8, a glass plate 10 and a humidity transmitting member 11. A placing section 6a and a surrounding section 6b are formed on the base 6. The CCD image sensor 8 is fixed on the placing section 6a, and a light receiving surface 8a faces an opening. The moisture transmitting member 11 surrounds the opening, and is sandwiched between the glass plate 10 and the base 6 by an adhesive layer 20. The moisture transmitting member 11 has a property of not allowing water to permeate but allowing steam to permeate. When the CCD image sensor 8 has heat and steam is generated, the steam in the housing chamber 12 is emitted to the outside through the moisture transmitting member 11.
