<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability during high speed drive, about a linear guide and end caps having a plurality of rollable rolling elements at a plurality of rolling element rolling passage formed between a guiding rail and a slider. <P>SOLUTION: A slider 3 includes a slider main body 3a having a rolling element return passage 6 provided through between end surfaces and the end caps 3b having a curved direction-changing passage for communicating between a rolling element rolling passage 4 and the rolling element return passage 6 made of resin (an izod impact strength with notch of 10.5 kJ/m<SP>2</SP>or greater) fixed at the end surfaces of an axial direction of the slider main body 3a. The end caps 3b are made from resin having the izod impact strength with notch of 10.5 kJ/m<SP>2</SP>or greater. Thus, the occurrence of damage such as chipping or cracking of the end caps can be prevented, thereby enhancing the durability of the end caps in a high speed driving. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
