PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper capable of corresponding to various body shapes of users without limiting the engaging position of a tape fastener during wearing. SOLUTION: The tape fastener 16 is provided at a dorsal waist part 6. The tape fastener 16 can be engaged to a back sheet 4 of a ventral waist part 8. A hook member 17 of the lower tape fastener 16 can be engaged to the back side of the upper tape fastener 16. The hook member 17 on one side of the upper and lower tape fastener 16 can be engaged to the back side on the other side of upper and lower tape fastener 16.
