PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll type compressor which utilizes the revolving turn motion of a movable scroll for smoothly trapping lubricating oil into a slide part of the movable scroll, and in which the fluidity of the lubricating oil is enhanced at the slide part to enhance the fluidity of the lubricating oil in the whole compressor in a simple construction and thus enhance the lubricating performance, durability and compression efficiency of the compressor.SOLUTION: The scroll type compressor includes annular spaces (68, 72) communicated with a suction chamber (60), facing peripheral edges (70, 74) of thrust faces (42a) of supporting members (42, 4c), and zoned in a housing (4) along the peripheral direction, and annular grooves (78, 84) recessed in a back face (26a) of a movable scroll (26) and at least one of the thrust faces along their peripheral directions. Along with the revolving turn of the movable scroll, the annular grooves are exposed to the annular spaces in each of first-fourth quadrants of an orthogonal coordinate system formed on the revolving turn plane. |
