PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile portable measuring instrument using hydrogen flame allowing measurement for a long time by simple constitution. SOLUTION: In this measuring instrument 2 for measuring continuously a concentration of a specified component in a sample, using a detector using the hydrogen flame, a hydrogen supply means 11 having a hydrogen storage alloy is used for fuel gas, an air purifying means 13 is used for combustion supporting gas, and a battery is used as an electric power supply means for the instrument 2.
