A notification system and a control method are disclosed. A notification system may comprise: a sensing unit for, when a touch of a knob of a door of a vehicle is detected, sensing a thing, which exists within a predetermined distance behind the door of which the touch is detected, or an incomplete function; an output unit for outputting a notification message corresponding to the detected thing or the detected incomplete function; and a control unit for controlling the sensing unit and the output unit.
