PURPOSE: A power generating apparatus is provided to generate power with a low flow rate of fluid by collecting fluid over a certain amount and then filling the collected fluid in a movable storage tank. CONSTITUTION: A power generating apparatus comprises a weight(120), a movable storage tank guide tank(130), a movable storage tank(140), and a power transmission unit(150). The weight moves up and down. The movable storage tank guide tank includes a fluid storage part(131) located on the top, a fluid discharge part(133) positioned on the bottom, and a supply opening and closing part(132) which selectively discharges fluid. The movable storage tank is housed in the movable storage tank guide tank and moves up and down between the fluid storage part and the fluid discharge part. The power transmission unit interconnects the movable storage tank and the weight, and moves the movable storage tank down or up when the weight moves up or down.
