PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet device in which a protruding part is correctly inserted into a joint part with an end part of the joint part facing the protruding part straight.SOLUTION: In an exhaust unit 30 of an ink jet printer, upstream side protruding parts 29 which communicate with an exhaust passage are formed on a lower surface of an extension member 25c provided at a sub tank unit. Further, downstream side protruding parts 36 which communicate with an opening/closing passage are formed on an upper surface of a lid part 33 which is disposed spaced away from the extension member 25c in a vertical direction and provided at a carriage. A tip of each upstream side protruding part 29 and a tip of each downstream side protruding part 36 face each other. A guide plate 43 is erected downward from the extension member 25c so as to be arranged parallel to the upstream side protruding parts 29. The guide plate 43 includes a guide surface 43a facing a part of a peripheral surface of each upstream side protruding part 29. The upstream side protruding part 29 is inserted into an upper end of a cylindrical part of joint rubber and the downstream side protruding part 36 is inserted into a lower end of the cylindrical part. |
