PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the responsiveness of output of a displacement sensor changing the output signal in response to migration of a moving magnetic body. SOLUTION: The displacement sensor is equipped with a primary coil 2, secondary coils 4a and 4b, and a moving magnetic core 6 migrating in response to displacement of a measured object to change the voltage generated in the secondary coils 4a and 4b, while the secondary coils 4a and 4b are differentially connected and, based on the differential synthesized output voltage, a polyphase signal generating section 10 generating two-phase signal with different phases. Those polyphase signals are rectified at both wave rectifying sections 16 and 18, respectively, to be composed at a compositor 22 for supplying to a low-pass filter 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
