Awning with positive return

The awning has a cloth (4) and winding shaft (3) with spring motor. A counter pulley system (17) fitted by console brackets (12) is connected to the awning so that during extension the cloth unwinds from the shaft which turns against the spring motor. The drive for the counter pulley system is independent of the drive for the winding shaft. The counter pulley system is connected by a carriage to the lower cloth seam rod (5) of the awning which unwinds from the winding shaft. The spring motor becomes increasingly tensioned to hold the cloth taut in any desired extended position.
