With regard to a catalyst carrier for an exhaust gas purification catalyst, the catalyst carrier comprising a metal phosphate containing Zr, the present invention provides a novel catalyst carrier having excellent NOx purification capability in the high-temperature region. Proposed is a carrier for an exhaust gas purification catalyst, the carrier having a Nasicon-type structure and comprising a metal phosphate containing Zr.
