<p>The invention relates to a system (20) for supplying preforms, such as a system which is intended to supply a machine used for the blow moulding of containers, e.g. bottles. The inventive system is of the type that comprises at least one sorting and aligning device (28), from upstream to downstream along the longitudinal direction of travel of the preforms (10), the upper end of said device being supplied with preforms (10) in bulk and the lower end thereof comprising at least two essentially-parallel aligning rollers (38) which are rotated around the respective axis thereof and which are used to position the preforms (10) in the conveyor rails (30) which are inclined in relation to the horizontal, such as to convey same to the machine (22). In addition, the system is of the type that comprises filter means (48) for removing the incorrectly-positioned preforms upstream of the machine. The invention is characterised in that, downstream of the aligning rollers (38), the aforementioned filter means (48) comprise at least one device (50) for the selective removal of longitudinal preforms (10), i.e. preforms arriving on the rails from the rollers which are oriented longitudinally on their sides and which extend essentially longitudinally on the conveyor rails.</p> |
