PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing/drying machine which has high reliability such that breakage or failure is hardly caused even when an outer tub is largely vibrated during operation. SOLUTION: A blower motor 42 is arranged in front of a blower chamber 40, that is, at an opposite side to a back face part 1d of an outer box 1 across the blower chamber 40 and so that an axis F along the motor shaft is almost orthogonal to the horizontal axis C in upper behind of an outer tub 10 and horizontally extends, and the motor shaft of the blower motor 42 is directly connected with the blower 41. By setting the blower motor 42 not to the back face part 1d side of the outer box 1 but inside the drying air passage like this, even when the outer tub 10 is largely vibrated during dehydration operation, the blower motor 42 is never brought in contact with the outer box 1. Accordingly the blower motor 42 is prevented from receiving an undesired shock to reduce breakage of the blower motor 42. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
