Provided are: a member for electrophotography, which has excellent durability; and an electrophotographic image-forming apparatus. A member for electrophotography, which is provided with: an elastic layer that contains a silicone rubber; an intermediate layer that contains an aromatic polyimide and/or an aromatic polyamideimide as well as a fluororesin; and a surface layer that contains a fluororesin. This member for electrophotography is characterized in that: the aromatic polyimide or the aromatic polyamideimide and the silicone rubber are bonded by a group that contains an amide bond; and a carbon atom that constitutes the amide bond is directly bonded to a carbon atom that constitutes the aromatic ring in each molecule of the aromatic polyimide or the aromatic polyamideimide.
