An emotion estimation device comprises: an image obtaining unit for obtaining a plurality of images of a target person taken in chronological order; an expression recognition unit for recognizing an expression of the target person from each of the plurality of images obtained by the image obtaining unit; a storage unit for storing a result of the expression recognition for the plurality of images as time-series data; and an emotion estimation unit for detecting a feature relating to a temporal change of the expression of the target person from the time-series data stored in the storage unit during an estimation target period as an estimation target, and estimating an emotion experienced by the target person during the estimation target period on the basis of the detected feature. |
