PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a manufacturing cost of an inkjet printer. SOLUTION: When all color inks are judged to be ejected normally, the recording head is used as an inkjet printer which enables color printing, and when a black ink is judged to be ejected normally but not all the other color inks, the recording head is used as an inkjet printer for monochrome printing, so that the recording head is shared for color printing and monochrome printing therefore to enable a decrease in development cost of the inkjet printer.
