PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal which is possible to confirm a status of the terminal even from a position distant to some extent without depending on a ring tone or a screen display. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal of the invention is composed of a control unit, a voice input and output unit, a voice coding/decoding unit connected to the control unit and the voice input and output unit, a data input and output unit connected to the control unit, a radio communication circuit connected to the control unit and the voice coding/decoding unit, an antenna connected to the radio communication circuit, a light emitting unit which is connected to the control unit, and emits a light at least by one light emitting mode according to an instruction from the control unit, and a memory unit which is connected to the control unit, and memorizes corresponding relations of each at least one status regarding to the mobile communication unit and each at least one light emitting mode. The mobile communication terminal causes the control unit which receives information regarding the status of the mobile communication terminal to transmit the instruction to the light emitting unit so as to emit a light in a light emitting mode corresponding to the status referring corresponding relations memorized in the memory unit.
