The present invention discloses a vehicle photographing apparatus and a control method thereof. A vehicle photographing apparatus of the present invention comprises a loop sensor installed in each vehicle to sense a vehicle which passes through a photographing line; a laser sensor to sense a vehicle which weaves by changing a line; a front camera installed in each vehicle to transmit the image of a front of a vehicle entering into the photographing line according to a photographing signal to an image server by photographing the vehicle; a backward camera installed in each vehicle to transmit an image of a backward of a vehicle entering into the photographing line according to the photographing signal to the image server; and a control unit to transmit matching data and a photographing signal to the front camera and the backward camera after generating the matching data by determining weaving and entering of the vehicle passing through the photographing line through the loop sensor and the laser sensor and to transmit the matching data to the image server when the vehicle enters into the photographing line.
