PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support device for a game machine capable of simulating easily a design plan. SOLUTION: This design support device 100 is equipped with an image data storage part 230 for storing respectively part image data classified into at least three layers of a lower layer, a middle layer and an upper layer; an image data selection part 200 for selecting at least each one piece of desired part image data relative to each layer from among the part image data stored in the image data storage part 230; an image data synthesis part 202 for synthesizing the part image data in each layer selected by the image data selection part 200 in the order of the lower layer, the middle layer and the upper layer; and an image data display part 204 for displaying image data synthesized by the image data synthesis part 202.
