PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for monitoring clearance between a compressor blade and a casing during various operation modes, and an apparatus and a method for controlling a gas turbine with relating to the clearance. SOLUTION: The gas turbine 1 includes a sensor 22 for measuring a clearance 20 of blades 27 in a compressor 2; and a controller 41 for receiving clearance 20 information and using the information to control the gas turbine 1 for prevention of at least one of a surge and rubbing of the blades 27.
