A virtual studio posture correction apparatus is provided to characterize motion data in which the motions of various experts are stored, synchronize the posture of a user with the motions in real time within a 3D space, and then show the synthesized posture image of the user. Cameras(240-24N) photographs a subject(270) which has a background(260) and dances. A chroma-key device(280) performs the chroma-key for the photographed picture, and then positions the real subject at an arbitrary point of a 3D graphic virtual space(320) having the size of a camera screen. An acceleration graphic device(200) fills the background processed by the chroma-key device with a background obtained by synchronizing character 3D data and 3D background data through a virtual camera prepared in a 3D image generator, in order to form a virtual image screen.
