[Problem] To provide a vehicle air conditioner device in which air conditioning of the vehicle interior can continue even when a failure occurs in a solenoid valve for switching the refrigerant flow in respective operation modes. [Solution] A vehicle air conditioner device (1) is provided with a cooling solenoid valve (17), a heating solenoid valve (21), and a dehumidifying solenoid valve (22) for switching respective operation modes of the air conditioner device (1). A controller switches between and executes operation modes including a heating mode, a dehumidifying mode, and a cooling mode. The controller has a designated failure-time air-conditioning mode, and a failure detection means for detecting failure of the solenoid valves. When the failure detection means detects that a solenoid valve has failed in any of the operation modes, a failure-time air-conditioning mode in which the vehicle interior can be air conditioned with that operation mode is selected and air conditioning of the vehicle interior is continued.
