PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biochip capable of detecting heat applied to a reagent in processes such as manufacturing, transportation, storage, and reaction. SOLUTION: This biochip 1 has a plurality of reaction chambers 3 on a substrate 2. A first temperature detection section 8 where a first temperature detection object 12 whose melting point is a predetermined first temperature is disposed in a recessed part 10 of the same size as the reaction chambers 3. Whether the reaction chambers 3 are in an environment of a first temperature or higher can be determined based on the shape or color of the first temperature detection object 12 in the first temperature detection section 8.
