PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable execution of desired print processing without print setting using a display unit or an input unit of an image forming apparatus from a user, when there is designation to generate a cover and a back cover. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus enables simple designation of print processing, by automatically deciding and modifying the processing using the description of a simple designation means which is prepared in advance on a paper manuscript when reading a manuscript and executing print processing.
