PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet dust collector enabling accurate management of the liquid surface and exerting high and stable collecting performance. SOLUTION: The dust collector has a water level adjusting box 6 controlling the liquid surface in the air chamber 21 on the primary side and a water level adjusting box 7 controlling the liquid surface in the air chamber 22 on the secondary side. The water level adjusting box 6 communicates with the air chamber 21 on the primary side through a connection pipe 8 and with a liquid bath 15 through a connection water pipe 9 and has an overflow pipe 10 within it. The water level adjusting box 7 communicates with the air chamber 22 through a connection pipe 12 and with the water level adjusting box 6 through a connection pipe 11 and the overflow pipe 10 and has an overflow pipe 13 within it.
