PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a difluorodiphenylamine compound useful as an organic photoconductive substance for an electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent photosensitivity, durability, repetition stability and operation environment. SOLUTION: This fluorodiphenylamine compound is shown by formula I (R1 to R4 are each an alkyl, a perfluoroalkyl or aryl; X is H, F, CF3, C2F5 or C3F7; with the proviso that the number of the perfluoroalkyls is 2-8) such as N,N,N',N'-tetraphenyl-4,4'-diaminodiphenylfluoroamine. The compound of formula I is obtained, for example, by nitrating a fluorodiphenylamine of formula II with fuming nitric acid to synthesize a fluoronitrodiphenyldiamine compound of formula III and then reducing the compound with tin and hydrochloric acid. Consequently the compound of formula I has excellent solubility and decomposition in a binder resin and is used as a charge transport acceptor substance to provided an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity, durability and repetition stability.
