A vehicle, specially an overhead line powered bus (1), has a drive train (2) comprising at least one electric machine (4) for driving at least one wheel (19), the electrical machine has an external power source (5) as public mains supply via at least one inverter unit (9). A cooling system (10) is provided for the electrical machine, with the electrical machine (4), inverter and cooling system mounted in a container (16) to form an electrically conductive intermediate mass (15). The electrically conductive intermediate mass is mounted free from an electrical connection to the vehicle chassis or frame.
