An apparatus for processing information includes: an acquisition unit that acquires a view point location of an observer who observes a first three-dimensional virtual object, which is arranged in a virtual space and has at least one cross-section; an obtaining unit which obtains a normal vector of the first cross-section of the first three-dimensional virtual object; an image generation unit which generates a second three-dimensional object having a second cross-section having a normal vector different from that of the first section based on the view point location of the observer and the normal vector of the first cross-section; and an output unit which outputs an image of the second three-dimensional virtual object generated by the image generation unit. |
