<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network game system for raising amusement by giving an environment where a role is acted in a pseudo-term like the actor of a movie or a theater, and to provide a program and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The game server (21) of the network game system (10) assigns characters, based on previous evaluation information. The game server (21) controls the performance of the assigned character in a virtual space only within a performance time according to an operation, and provides performance control information concerning the performance of the character.
