PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent for clothing capable of adding fluffy and large volume textile to an article to be washed after cleaning and dry feeling.SOLUTION: There is provided a detergent for clothing containing 0.01 to 5 mass% of (A) component: a polymer having a repeating unit represented by (a-1) and/or a repeating unit represented by (a-2) and a repeating unit represented by the (a-3), (B) component: a nonionic surfactant and (C) component: an anionic surfactant excluding higher fatty acid salt. In (a-1), Rand Rare each an alkyl group or a hydroxy alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms and Xis a counter ion. In (a-2), Rand Rare each an alkyl group or a hydroxyalkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms and Xis a counter ion.
